- I was diagnosed with "Bipolar Disorder II Rapid Cycling" 5 years ago now. For those who don't know what that means stay tuned in because you'll soon understand but as a summary it means that I suffer from severe debilitating depression and hypomania which, for me, means increased energy, rapid thoughts, sleeplessness and lack of inhibitions. Rapid Cycling means that I go from one extreme to the other very quickly and have more than 4 episodes in a year. I am on medication, 800mg Lithium, 300mg Quetiapine and 1000mg Carbamazepine. I am unable to work. I am an Atheist. I have no strong political belief. I am going through a divorce at the moment and I live with my boyfriend.
